Water of Life
Water, essential to maintaining life, plant, animal, human life and the natural environmental equilibrium. A shift in attitudes is required, from a linear style of thinking, from where the extraction of materials you desire and then abandoning the residuals, as this is no longer an acceptable practice. To become a sustainable society we must accept the responsibility for the ultimate disposition of all the materials generated as a result of our activities.

Participating in online collaboration groups such as the Sustainable Water Cycle Conservation Forum may be a small step towards achieving Environmental Sustainability along with adopting a Waste Regeneration strategy.

Water Recovery
We may achieve Environmental Sustainability through Water Regeneration.
Water recovery from the Atmosphere, Water Purification, and Waste Waster treatment.
Physical water is a common commodity that can be traded worldwide.

Water Vapor Recovery
This is the processes of Condensing water vapor from the ambient atmosphere, the collection of evaporated water, and moisture expelled from breathing, sweating.
There are ongoing efforts for the Direct Air Capture of atmospheric water vapor and also CO2.

Waste Water
Industrial Waste Water - the recovery process to make drinking water from urine, residential drain water from showers, bathing & hygiene, cooking.
Microbial Fuel Cells may present the potential of harvesting energy from the Salinity Gradient in urine and waste water.

Municipal and industrial waste water treatment, water purification or regeneration, heavy metals residuals recovery, Metal Bearing Wastewaters, filtration, precipitation, ion exchange systems, Ionic exchange resins, electronic recovery, electrolysis & electrostatic precipitation.

Sludge De~Watering
Sludge De~Watering provides the opportunity to recover clean water and product residues. Industrial process sludges typically have much higher solid particulate content than other forms of waste water. The recovery of resources may vary widely with industrial sludges depending on the source of the industry the sludge is generated from.

Heat Scavenging
By locating a water purification module in conjunction with a source of waste heat, you may be able to generate clean water from waste water streams with no direct energy cost and no additional CO2 footprint.

Thermal Purification

Water Purification
Water Purification is the cleaning or purifying of water that is taken from existing sources, such as from the ocean or from collected waste water. Various processes can be utilized for desalination or cleaning of the water like water filtration, ion exchange, UV, Thermal or Solar Energy

Filtration This is the passage of water through a semi-permeable membrane. The membrane blocks the particulate matters that contaminate water. The process filters out all sorts of contaminants such as ions, pesticides, micro-organisms and other chemicals from water.

Membrane Gradient Separation & Electrodialysis
Electrodialysis (ED) is a process controlled by an electric field gradient that allows the separation of minerals from feed water solution. It moves dissociated ions through ion-permselective membranes and forms two different flows - desalinated flow called diluate and a concentrated flow called concentrate (brine).

Traditional Reverse Osmosis (RO) desalination processes commonly yields approximately 50% clean water and a equivalent volume of a solution with an elevated salinity content. One responsible method of managing this residual concentrated brine may be Thermal Purification. This approach has the potential to increase the yield of clean water while capturing the potential recovery of valuable resources while reducing or eliminating undesirable discharge.

Ultra Violet Sterilization
UV Lamp Disinfectant. Ultraviolet water purification can be used for disinfecting bacteria from the water. Ultraviolet (UV) rays penetrate harmful pathogens killing living organisms in the water like bacteria, viruses and other harmful pathogens microbes.

Thermal Purification
The process of forced evaporation or distillation is a method that separates clean water from residual materials.

The thermal process involves the Input of heat, applied to an impure source of water, past the boiling point that results in producing Steam, and then Converting the water vapor back into liquid water.

Clean Water
The clean water recovered from a Thermal Purification process (distilled water) may become a raw feedstock or be blended with natural waters that are suitable as drinking water for potable consumption, hygiene, irrigation or industrial water uses.

Residual Materials The residue generated from the thermal reduction process becomes a primary condensed feedstock for first stage entry into a proper residuals management process. The extraction of materials that may include valuable or strategic minerals and metals is the primary goal of a comprehensive resource recovery program.

Energy Input
The Thermal Purification (Distillation) of Water is an Energy Intense process. The traditional linear approach to desalination and waste waster treatment has relied upon the use of Fossil Fuels which have faced Two major challenges posed by the economic cost and environmental impact of the energy generation.

A more circular method of thermal water purification may be developed with the evolution of technologies such as concentrated solar or sustainably sourced electric arc or induction heat. With these alternative sources of energy you may be able to produce clean water from waste water streams with little or no direct CO2 emissions.

Steam Stage
In the pathway to recovering clean water through the Thermal Purification process you produce steam as an intermediate stage by-product or side stream. The potential opportunity to harvest energy from steam may be harnessed to generate green electricity.

Condensing Stage
Options to perform different methods of converting water vapor (steam) back into liquid water during the cooling process exist. Some procedures or condensing systems possess the potential to harness kinetic energy derived from the condensing forces to drive a pump.
Steam driven condensing pumps have the ability to pump water or may be used as a component in a hydro electric generation system. In addition, Steam driven condensing pumps may power an air compression system that converts ambient atmospheric air into a compressed air energy storage system.

Water Rethink
A Rethink of the importance of water quality and the approach to Thermal Water Purification. We may be capable of conserving or better managing a strategic valuable resource in a CO2 neutral method. In addition, we may be able to achieve the supply of clean water in a net energy neutral process with a potential of actually generating surplus energy.

Water Regeneration
Clean fresh water is a perpetual renewable resource obtained by blending hydrogen and oxygen. . Water generation or regeneration is a method to achieve a sustainable cycle of life. The recovery of Hydrogen and Oxygen that is sourced from waste hydrocarbons and undesirable oxides and byproducts is an integral step to maintaining environmental equilibrium.

Hydrogen Fuel
The production of Hydrogen fuel from a finite resource like water may not prove to be optimal.
