Steam Stage
In the pathway to recovering clean water through the Thermal Purification process you Produce Steam as an intermediate stage by-product or side stream. Therefore, there is a potential opportunity to manipulate or condition the steam into the most efficient form for its desired uses in a Multi Stage Steam Harvesting to harness some form of work.

Steam Harvest
You may harvest energy or work from steam in the form of electricity, kinetic mechanical work or heat exchange.
In the pathway to recovering clean water through the Thermal Purification process you produce steam as an intermediate stage by-product or side stream. The potential opportunity to harvest energy from steam may be harnessed to generate green electricity.

Electricity
The current traditional method of harnessing energy from steam is by using a steam turbine to generate electricity. In earlier history, prior to the development of electricity, steam was harnessed through the steam engine which is accredited as a key factor in the development of the industrial revolution.

Kinetic Energy
There exists the opportunity to harness steam pressure to perform mechanical work within the recovery plant operations, steam pistons, kinetic or mechanical motion.

Heat Exchange
Within the steam stage, smart engineering or design may allow the opportunity to take advantage of the heat exchange potential. Preheating incoming waste water, compressed air expansion heating, general heat exchange applications.

Multi Stage Steam Harvesting
Different Temperature Ranges of Steam contain varying amounts of energy. These differing temperature gradients provide multiple opportunities for Harvesting energy at each stage.

Rankine Cycle
Traditional Heat Engines harvest energy in the form of High Grade Steam (typically above 250°C) with the use of a turbine in a Rankine cycle. When energy is extracted from the High temperature / High pressure steam it is reduced to what is commonly referred to as Low Grade Steam.

Organic Rankine Cycle
Low Grade Steam (typically below 250°C) may be used in an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) to extract additional energy.

Condensing Cycle
An opportunity exists to extract energy at the phase change stage of steam into liquid water at the Condensing Stage. The reverse effect of the Liquid-to-Gas Expansion Ratio may be harnessed with the use of Standardized Condenser modules.

Sterling Cycle
Once condensed, energy may be extracted from the hot water in a Sterling Cycle

TEG Generators
In addition, the use of Thermo Electric Generators (TEGs) may be utilized throughout this multi stage process to extract stray radiating heat as the remaining energy dissipates from the water/steam cooling.
